Individual Module: Driving Professionally

Fleet drivers and those who drive for work need unique skills, knowledge, good judgment and high ethical standards. Fleet drivers must recognize the hazards in challenging situations encountered on the road and identify specific techniques they can use to handle those situations. Additionally, one area that professional drivers sometimes overlook is their state of mind. Driving is a complex task that requires total concentration and a calm mind. 

In this course, drivers will learn the definition of a fleet driver and why fleet drivers must drive professionally. Specifically, this course will: 

- Dispel myths about fleet drivers
- Review the key characteristics of professional fleet drivers
- Cover strategies employees can use to represent your company well while operating a fleet vehicle
